From the new Git menu, you can create or clone repositories from GitHub or Azure DevOps. I just tested the file on another visual studio 2019, it formats properly on the other computer. Use Git as the default source control experience in Visual Studio right out of the box. Idk, at least the new js file will indent properly when I hit enter and recognize bracket pairs, the project I'm currently working on doesn't show anything. Utter a short phrase (type a prefix), wave your wand (press Enter or Tab ), and presto A wonderful event unfolds in front of you. Snippets can add a touch of magic to your editor.

This feature is already available in Visual Studio, but not found in Visual Studio Code. Visual Studio Code Snippets the Definitive VS Code Snippet Guide for Beginners. I tried to create a new js file and it also did not work. Instead of formatting the code while saving or by applying the key combination Ctrl + K, Ctrl + F or Alt + Shift + F, I need to format the current line of code while hitting the Enter key.
Update: I should mention, no Javascript file is formatable. I'll check again to see if visual studio code is able to format it, cause if I can't get it to format in vs code, then well, maybe something is wrong, but like I said, as of yesterday, the js file was formatable for both vs studio 2019 and vs code. The Javascript is working properly on their respective html pages so again, as far as I'm aware, there isn't anything wrong with the js file or file extension. I have a workspace for a bunch of html files, images, a script.js, and stylesheet.css.
